About Sharon...

IMG_1688 (2).jpeg

Having trained and practiced as a psychotherapist and also operated as an executive for over ten years I firmly believe in the power of the individual to achieve whatever they set their mind too including living a successful, happy and fulfilled life.

In my role as an executive I was responsible for introducing and driving the introduction of a coaching culture across the business, and observing a cultural switch that moved from a less directive to a more empowering style of leadership. I am truly passionate about the personal development of others and believe that by developing our emotional intelligence we can overcome any limiting beliefs that are holding us back.

As an executive coach I support clients to identify clear goals working in collaboration to achieve what is most important to them.

My style of coaching is one of high support and challenge, asking questions and allowing space for the coachee to define, test and eventually reach their goals.

Sharon is thoughtful, intuitive and asks powerful questions that unlock options for the way forward

Former Managing Director, Essity.

MY BACKGROUND

As an executive I worked across many sectors including banking, e-commerce and the charity sector. I believe this experience allows a deep understanding of the challenges faced by many executives.

During my training as a psychotherapist I gained an Advanced Diploma in ‘Transactional Analysis’ which enabled me to gain a deep insight and understanding into human behaviour.

It is by gaining awareness we are equipped with the tools to change.

MY COACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an accredited ILM7 executive coach and mentor, certified operational coaching practitioner, accredited internal coach and an accredited business practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming.  I have coached  clients from multiple sectors and worked to develop a coaching culture in my own organisation, supporting many senior staff and leading the development of an internal coaches’ programme.

I regularly attend learning events and conferences to keep my knowledge current in addition to maintaining a membership in the Association for Coaching and the Coaching Culture community.

“Sharon allows the time and space to think but also identifies when appropriate to challenge my thinking. This encourages me to explore further options beyond my initial though process.

Head of Recruitment, Charity Sector.

MY LIFE OUTSIDE WORK...

I love to travel whenever I can and I am most happy when I have a rucksack on my back and a wide open space in front of me, ready to be explored. I also really enjoy wild swimming and love to immerse myself self in freezing water in the middle of winter. Last but not least, I'm a huge animal lover and have many of my own.
